Description of Lesson Activity: (1) Read Ether 12:27, then talk about weaknesses and how we can become strong during our trials through reading the scriptures. (2) Share this Great Worth and Value grab bag full of character traits that will bring blessings. Remind youth to of this message: “I am of great worth and value, according to my Heavenly Father who knows me perfectly” (D&C 18:10).

#2 TEMPTATION TRAPS AND ESCAPES BRAINSTORM
Description of Lesson Activity: Have a brainstorm with youth to help them realize how the Atonement can help them if they know the traps and escape routes. Stack the set of cards facedown and divide youth into groups of three or four. As they draw two or more Temptation Trap cards, they can discuss with their group and write on the card the Escape Route cards (how they can overcome or combat that temptation). Report discussion and Escape Route to the class.

Description of Lesson Activity: Youth can be successful sailing the seas of life as they keep promises: Prayer, Scriptures, Actions. This way they can draw closer to the Savior and receive the guidance they need. Read the scripture and write the promises; then post them for daily reminders.
