ACTIVITY:
Encourage youth to post these attitude-adjusting motivators on their mirror to give them courage daily.
Two include Proverbs 17:22 and Romans 8:28.
THOUGHT TREAT Sour Lemons to Lemonade.
Make a batch of lemonade to share.
First slice and let the youth taste a lemon. Then place sugar on their slice of lemon and explain, “We can make a lemon less sour by adding sugar and water to the lemon juice (making lemonade).”
SWEET LIFE CHOICES Recipe.
1 cup SCRIPTURE STUDY to keep heaven in sight
3 cups PRAYER (morning, noon, and night)
10 cups GOD’S 10 COMMANDMENTS
24 tablespoons GOD-LIKE INSPIRATION every hour
4 cups SWEET CONVERSATIONS at school, work, church, and home
6 cups of SERVICE: (1) Charity, “The Pure Love of Christ”; (2) Humble spirit; (3) Inspiration from the Spirit; (4) Focus on the individual or cause; (5) Gratitude when served; and (6) A Glad heart knowing you are making a difference
Add ingredients, stir, and enjoy daily.

Instead of just enduring hardships and becoming bitter, live the principles Jesus taught to “sweeten” your outlook. He wants you to believe in Him and in yourself. Instead of seeing the glass half-empty (doubting yourself), be hopeful to see the glass half-full. This will help you make SWEET CHOICES.
