TO MAKE AND USE: Mount cue cards on the back of each poster that match the song verse. (Lyrics below; you will have to write them on the cue cards as we can’t do this for you because of copyright.)

IDEA TO PRESENT THIS SONG.

Play the game Follow the Leader using some of the things we do to follow Jesus. Divide into two teams where each team plans secretly what they will act out in front of the other team THE WAY TO FOLLOW JESUS. If the team guesses before the leader counts to ten, they receive a point. Take turns until the time is up. The team with the most points wins.
     ACTION IDEAS. Form a heart with fingers to represent love for others. Walk with large steps to represent following the teachings of Jesus.

• Is there a person you admire? What do you like about this person?

• Jesus is the best example of how to love and care for others. He cared for the sick, the lonely, the poor, and the sad.

• We, like Jesus, can become good at seeing the needs of others.

• Have you ever been tempted to make a wrong choice? Did you stop and listen to that still small voice?

• Loving our neighbors and serving our friends is easy to do. How do you show love for your neighbors and friends?
