The lesson helps children help the children know that Jesus Christ loves and blesses children everywhere. The activity helps us learn to say “Thank You” in different languages.

Using the envelope (shown) to place children from around the world in the pockets, do the following:
1. Help children sing, “Children All Over the World,” p. 16 in the Children’s Songbook, and talk to children about Jesus loving everyone.
2. Have children learn how children all over the world say thank you “in their own special way,” by sliding the children into the “thank you” pockets to match their country/language: German: wir danken dir, Danish: tak, Tongan: mālō, French: merci, Japanese: kansha shimashu, Spanish: gracias.
