LESSON CONCEPTS SUMMARY:
We know that the Savior and His gospel should be our highest priority, but other things can easily distract us. Perhaps that’s why the scriptures counsel us to “ponder the path of thy feet” (Proverbs 4:26), “consider your ways” (Haggai 1:5), and “examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5). POST-AND-PRESENT ACTIVITY. FOLLOWING JESUS’ FOOTSTEPS match and ponder. Youth take turns MATCHING AS THEY CHOOSE: Jesus’ example shoes, and shoes today, stating how they will follow Him “ponder the path of thy feet” (Proverbs 4:26).

Haggai exhorts the people to build the temple – “Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.”
SCRIPTURE MEMORIZATION. TEMPLE COVENANTS – OVERCOMING TRIALS ColorQuote.“As you and I go to the holy houses of God, as we remember the covenants we make within, we will be more able to bear every trial and to overcome each temptation. …
“examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5)
YOUTH GOAL PLANNER. MY FAITH GROWS AS I LEARN FROM THE SCRIPTURES AND THE LIVING PROPHETS. Youth can search and ponder scriptures and conference talks and discuss how they relate to them. Then, use the chart to schedule daily prayer for three weeks.

YOUTH GOAL/LESSON ACTIVITY. WARM FUZZY RIGHTEOUS REMINDERS poster and bookmark. Youth can be reminded of five ways they can live the gospel daily to feel our Savior’s love. They can place a smiling face over the circle for which they try to live the gospel in that way: Love, Service, Obedience, Prayer, Study, and Work.
