Description of Lesson Activity: Follow the puzzle instructions and write ways you plan to resist taking drugs.

~ Reasons for Drug Involvement: peer pressure, escape, immaturity, availability, advertising appeal.

Description of Lesson Activity: The lesson helps youth understand and desire to practice the basic principles of good nutrition contained in the Word of Wisdom. Tell youth that good nutrition is part of keeping the Word of Wisdom. If we can concentrate on high-nutrition rather than low-nutrition foods, we will be blessed, as this commandment is revealed in D&C 89:18‒21.

If it lands on Bloomin’ Good Blessings, tell about what someone does who is strong at keeping the Word of Wisdom. When it lands on the blessings, talk about that blessing and what it means.
